A crêpe or crepe is a type of very thin French pancake. Turn your kitchen into a french cafe with these delicious homemade delights!

Ingredients

  • 1 c All Purpose Four

  • 2 each Fresh Eggs

  • 1 tbsp Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 1 1/2 c Whole Milk

  • 1 tbsp Butter

  • 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar

  • 1 c Whipped Topping

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the flour then add eggs, slowly whisking them into flour. Add sugar and salt and stir until combined. Gradually add the milk, whisking to combine. Let batter stand at room temperature until bubbly on top, 15-20 minutes.
  • In a small skillet over medium heat, melt margarine. About 1/4 C at a time, drop batter evenly onto pan swirling it to an evenly coat.
  • Cook 2 minutes then flip and cook 1 minute more; repeat with remaining batter.
  • Serve crepes warm with choice of fruit. dusting of powdered sugar and 2 T whipped cream.
  • HACCP
  • Food prep areas, Equipment, and utensils, to be used in recipe will be washed and sanitized prior to beginning the preparation and cooking.
  • Assemble all ingredients, utensils, etc. to be used in recipe within easy reach of prep area so that food safety can be managed more effectively as well as better control of contamination and cross contamination.
  • Remove frozen product from freezer using oldest pack date first.
  • CCP: Take and record on a temperature log all beginning temperatures of refrigerated foods before beginning the recipe.
  • Wash hands thoroughly before handling food, after handling contaminated food or objects, and before switching to another step where there is an opportunity for contamination. This applies as well for before and after glove use.
  • Use clean pair of gloves when handling raw product. Replace gloves after handling any other object.
