Many people live their lives as though they are their thoughts- “the worrier,” “the hot head” the anxiety queen.” All those descriptions describe habitual thought patterns but you and your thoughts are two different things. Practice watching what your mind is doing, finding you can take a few steps back from a busy brain and report what it’s doing without throwing yourself into its mess.
