This homemade taco pizza is made with nutritional whole-wheat dough. This lunch is when Mexican meets Italian. This pizza is layered with taco meat and cheese and topped with a traditional red salsa.


  • 24 oz 24 Raw Pizza Dough Ball, Fresh

  • 1 lb 1 Salsa

  • 8 oz 8 Cheddar & Monterey Jack, Shredded

  • 12 3/4 oz 12 3/4 Taco Filling Beef Reduced Fat


  • Preheat convection oven to 350° F.
  • Prepare pizza dough according to manufacturer directions.
  • Prepare taco meat according to manufacturer directions. Cook until internal temperature reaching 165 degrees for at least 15 seconds.
  • Spread salsa onto the pizza dough, then add taco meat and cheese.
  • Bake until golden brown and internal temperature is reached, about 10-15 min.
  • Serve with shredded lettuce, sour cream and jalapeños.
  • CCP: Heat to 165° F or higher for at least 15 seconds Remove product from oven. Caution! Finished product is hot. Use oven mitts when handling product to avoid injury.
  • CCP: Place product in warming cabinet until served. Ensure that hot food is held at a temperature above 140° F. CORRECTIVE ACTION HOT FOOD All cooked food items being held for service that drop below 140 degrees must be removed from service until such time as they are reheated to 165 degrees. Any food not eaten after reheating must be discarded.
  • CCP: Record time and internal temperature of completed recipe on daily log.
